Alsa Corporation Unveils Eclipse, A Single Event Color
Changing Paint That Changes From Black To White Or Blue To
White
Vernon, California - October 18, 2004 –
The Alsa Corporation has introduced Eclipse, a single event heat-reactive chameleon paint that changes from black to white, or from blue to white. Eclipse can also be used in combination with other Alsa paints and additives; such as CrystalFX , SpectraFX , or Candy, to achieve a color changing effect over any desired color or pattern.
For example, if you painted a small object, such as a telephone, with apple red candy concentrate over black to white eclipse, the telephone would appear black when cool. When heated, the telephone would change from black to apple red candy. Another example of a change using the same telephone would be when a person holds the phone. Before being picked up the phone would be black. After holding the phone for a few seconds, the body heat from the person's hand would leave an imprint of apple candy red where the phone was held.
