Born in Orange County, CA. Ryno has been drawing ever since he was able to pick up a pencil. Ryno started with T- Shirt art and moved on to banners, wall murals and automotive. 90% of his business now is Automotive painting and wall murals but as an artist Ryno wants to paint anything. He has been mastering the technique of custom airbrushing for over 11 years now. Ryno is currently working on the CMT’S cable show “ Trick My Truck” series. Fonzy is one of the most sought-after Airbrush Artists in the Los Angeles area when it comes to Lowrider murals. Because of his unique and fresh style when it comes to painting beautiful women, and original characters, you can be sure you will find at least one of Fonzy's Airbrushed Lowriders in almost every Car Show held in the Los Angeles Area. His work has appeared in numerous automobile magazines over the last few years such as: "Lowrider Magazine", "Street Low", "Street Customs" and "Blvd" among others. He has also been featured on articles for "Custom Lowriding" in 2000 and for "Low Magazine" in 2003, both Japanese publications, and he is one of the founding members of the Latin Airbrush Artists' Association.
At the young age of nineteen Fonzy began making signs on commercial vehicles. He broke into the world of Airbrushing at the age of twenty in his own paint shop, and having no knowledge of the art, other than the experience he attained while painting signs on vehicles, he taught himself how to use the Airbrush and ventured on with his willingness and adamant effort to succeed.
Because Airbrushing was so new to him, especially in Tijuana, finding information about this Art was
no easy task, but he taught himself as much as he could and with time and hard work he refined his
skills and made a name for himself. www.fonzyairshot.com
