  Soft Touch

Product Information

Alsa soft touch coating is applied using conventional spray painting equipment.

Primer: A primer is not needed for most plastics. Specific primers for metals and hard-to-coat plastics are available.

Alsa soft touch Topcoat: The topcoat is sprayed on and the product must then be force dried.  Alsa soft touch topcoat is made up of:

Proprietary Alsa soft touch "TM" component - different "TM" components produce different tactile feels and looks.  The most popular choice, TM170, produces a Velvet-like feel and is included in our sample kits.  Other TM components will be custom made to order.
Hardener - TV155 Hardener is used for all Alsa soft touch topcoats.
Thinner - a variety of thinners are available for different drying conditions. The most popular choice, ET134, is included in our sample kits.
