Description

Alsa soft touch clear coat family of TM170 is a two-pack transparent or pigmented polyurethane topcoat characterized by a deep mattness and a pleasant tactile softness to the touch.

Product Data

Pigment/Binder:

Inorganic. Polyester based resin.

The following data is dependent upon color.

Solvents:

Aromatic hydrocarbons, esters

Substrate:

Pre-treatment:

TM170 could be applied onto DJ331/332/334, TG701 or TG702 basecoats. Also to plain plastic.

Hardener:

Alsa soft touch Hardener TV155
Hardener TV130 or TV140

Thinner:

ZT105 or ET134

Application Method:

Conventional spraying, 0.04 mil nozzle, 6 to 14.5 psi fluid pressure, 50-60 psi atomizing pressure.

Application Viscosity:

23 - 28 sec. Zahn #2

Pot Life

4 Hours @ ambient conditions.

Recommended dry film thickness:

1.5-2.0 mils

Drying

Flash Off:

5 minutes at ambient conditions.

Forced Drying:

30-40 minutes at 150°F.

Range from 2 ­ 30 units @ 60° angle.
